We hereby announce that the following two amendments to the membership rules were approved at the General Meeting of Members held on January 12, 2026.
The background for the changes and the specific amendments are as follows. If you have any questions, please contact secretariat@homenoc.ad.jp.
For the full text of the changes, please see the Comparison Table (PDF).
Addition of Anti-Social Forces Exclusion Clause
Recent government guidelines and ordinances have strengthened efforts to exclude anti-social forces. Our organization has also clarified its policy to exclude antisocial forces and sever all transactions and relationships with them. Consequently, we now require all corporate members and experimental network members to pledge that they have no ties to antisocial forces.
- Experimental Network Members A message requesting your pledge will appear when you log in to the dashboard. Please review the content and click “Agree” if you consent.
※ If you do not agree, you will be logged out of the dashboard.
※ If the message does not appear, please clear your browser cache and try again.
- For Corporate Members We will contact you individually regarding this matter.
Please be aware that membership may be suspended or revoked if it becomes clear that a member is associated with antisocial forces, or if a member fails to comply with the pledge for an extended period.
Revision of Membership Approval Conditions
- Change in Membership Approval Conditions
The requirement will change from “approval by a two-thirds majority of regular members” to “approval by the Representative Director or a regular member appointed by the Representative Director.” As our membership continues to grow, requiring “approval by a two-thirds majority of regular members” for every membership application has become a significant practical burden. Therefore, the condition will be changed to “approval by the Representative Director or a regular member appointed by the Representative Director.”
- Addition of a Clause Regarding Disclosure of Membership Information
A clause stating “The Association shall bear no obligation whatsoever to disclose the reasons, etc., for refusing membership to an applicant” will be added. This is because, when membership is denied for any reason, disclosure of the reason may be requested; however, disclosure can be difficult in cases involving personal information or confidential information. Please note that our policy remains unchanged: if requested to disclose the reason for denying membership, we will disclose it to the extent possible.
