Privacy Policy

If there are any differences between the Japanese and English versions of a document, the Japanese version of the document shall be assumed to be correct.

CHAPTER 1. Basic Policy

The Society recognizes the importance of personal information, complies with relevant laws and regulations, and handles personal information in the following manner. The term “law” here shall mean the laws of Japan.

CHAPTER 2. Acquisition of Personal Information

We obtain members’ personal information for the purposes set forth in CHAPTER 3. When acquiring personal information, we will notify members in advance of the purpose and method of use of their personal information, and acquire personal information to the minimum extent necessary. We will not obtain this without the member’s permission or in an unauthorized manner.

CHAPTER 3. Purpose of collecting and using personal information

We use personal information collected from our members only for the purpose of carrying out the services we provide and the work required to provide that support. The information will not be used beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.

CHAPTER 4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

We will not provide personal information obtained from members to third parties without the consent of the member, except in the following cases.

  • When there is the consent of the member himself/herself
  • In case of legal requirements
  • When it is necessary for the protection of a person’s life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the member
  • In cases where it is necessary to cooperate with a public organization or its delegate in carrying out its legally mandated duties, and where obtaining the consent of the member may impede the execution of those duties.

CHAPTER 5. Management of Personal Information

We shall take sufficient security measures against risks to personal information, such as unauthorized access to personal information and leakage of personal information.

CHAPTER 6. Contact Information

We will appropriately respond to inquiries regarding the use, provision, disclosure, deletion, or correction of personal information.

CHAPTER 7. Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice to members as we deem necessary. However, in cases where there is expected to be a significant impact on members, a reasonable advance notice period shall be provided in advance.
